Want a peek into my formative years here in Colorado?

A huge family treat used to be an evening at the Flying W ranch for their supper show. A chuckwagon dinner (for hundreds of guests a night!!) on their 1400-acre cattle ranch, with singing cowboys providing the after-dinner entertainment. With that and my love of horses as a teen, is it any wonder I gravitated to writing western romance?

And while searching to see if there was any new Colorado cowboy news, I ran across this:

I don’t think this famous Remington painting is associated with Colorado (that I’m aware of), so I’m not sure why this site attached it to Colorado cowboys, but we do happen to have a framed poster of A Dash for the Timber in our home!

Book two in the Tillacos Ranch Romance series is written and making its way through the publishing pipeline 🎉(And if you’re wondering, that’s Till - ah - cos … as in Costco.) Her Colorado Firefighter picks up with the middle brother at Tillacos Creek Ranch. A firefighter and a cowboy, what could be better?!

And book three — with the oldest brother, Lane? Working on that one right now!
